Toning
Have you ever noticed how boxers and martial arts have very toned bodies? They look like they spend hours lifting weights, that’s the same look you’ll get from your Karate workout. You’ll get firm buttocks, toned legs, a flat stomach and a stronger upper body.
Stress Relief
Let’s face it. This is a major benefit. Our clients tell us this is one of the top reasons they can’t get enough of Karate. Because of the mental strength that martial arts develops, students get so absorbed in their Karate class, their problems seem a million miles away. The best part is you’ll think clearer, sharper and with more confidence than ever before.
Flexibility
A major benefit of increased flexibility is better blood circulation and a more relaxed overall lifestyle.
Self Confidence
We all know that when you look good, you feel good. Imagine adding, "And I know I can take care of myself," to the equation. There is no better feeling than knowing you’re in shape and can defend yourself if you ever have to.
Variety
To make sure our students never get bored with karate, we ensure our classes are never the same old routine.
With the wide variety of punches, kicks, sweeps, throws and stretching exercises, you’ll never get bored doing the same routines over and over. Plus we add pad work, focus mitt drills and a high cardio vascular pace throughout the workout. Our classes utilise all the latest equipment, keeping them exciting whilst helping you develop your skills faster.
Individual Instruction
Though you’re in class for yourself, you’re not by yourself. Our instructors will provide you with the most effective, safe, and personal instruction available. You’ll receive individual help as you master the basics and ongoing guidance from our instructors as your skill level increases.
Safety
We understand that most of our clients are not training for championship bouts, but just want to have fun and get in the best shape of their lives. We use the latest, most progressive teaching methods available to help you achieve this goal.
Working Out
In the studio, there are no age, sex, or racial barriers, everyone begins their training with a white belt. The instructor allows each student to progress at his or her own rate in accordance to their ability. The student can expect to develop strength, stamina, reaction time, flexibility, coordination and balance. But to fully master the sport, one must also develop the important mental characteristics: patience, humility, self-control, perseverance, concentration, and respect. |
